About Me

It Started With a Coloring Book

My best friend told me that I NEEDED to sell coloring books of my art so she could buy one. Being the people pleaser that I am, I couldn't shake the request, and it got me thinking about how I could share my art with the universe. However, the many coloring books I've been gifted over the years that just sit untouched in a drawer made me want to do something unique. I wanted to make something people would actually finish, and actually keep. So instead of a page, I made a panel: color it in, and it becomes real wall decor instead of getting shoved in a drawer.

Then It Needed a Frame

A finished panel deserved better than a thumbtack. I'm the "I can make that" type of lady, so I ended up designing my own frames too — interchangeable colors, multiple sizes, and a low-profile option for the modest folk. Every frame has four hanging points, because there's no "right side up" on my art. Hang it however makes you happiest!

What started as one coloring book for one friend turned into an actual shop, with actual inventory, and an actual me running it.

The Artist Behind the Work

Hi, I'm Angie — the maker, curator, and shipping department behind Curlilock's Creations. I started this brand because I believed art should be personal, a little witty, and genuinely well-made. Whether you're treating yourself or gifting to someone who appreciates originality, I hope you find something that speaks to you.

Thank you for supporting independent art.
